In short
Qaid's email inbox gives every company a unique address (your-company@inbox.myqaid.com). Emails sent to it — including attachments and HTML receipts in the body — are captured, extracted and turned into draft entries, with duplicates ignored.
How the inbox works
- 1Find your addressOpen Settings → Inbox in the Qaid app. The address is generated once from your company name and does not change if you rename the company.
- 2Forward or auto-forwardForward individual receipts, or set a filter in Gmail or Outlook to auto-forward emails from vendors such as your telecom, cloud or delivery provider.
- 3Qaid processes the emailAttachments (PDF, images) and HTML receipts in the email body are extracted and drafted. Duplicate emails and duplicate documents are skipped.
- 4Approve in the appDrafts appear in your inbox view and chat for review. Failed extractions are retried automatically and shown so nothing is lost silently.
Good to know
- The address only accepts email for companies that exist in Qaid; other recipients are dropped.
- Email delivery is handled by Resend; the content is stored with your company's documents, not on a public URL.
- You can re-process an email from the app if an extraction needs another pass.
