Email inbox

Forward a receipt. It's in your books.

Each company in Qaid has a dedicated email address ending in @inbox.myqaid.com. Send or forward receipts, bills and invoices to it and they are processed like an upload.

In short

Qaid's email inbox gives every company a unique address (your-company@inbox.myqaid.com). Emails sent to it — including attachments and HTML receipts in the body — are captured, extracted and turned into draft entries, with duplicates ignored.

How the inbox works

  1. 1Find your addressOpen Settings → Inbox in the Qaid app. The address is generated once from your company name and does not change if you rename the company.
  2. 2Forward or auto-forwardForward individual receipts, or set a filter in Gmail or Outlook to auto-forward emails from vendors such as your telecom, cloud or delivery provider.
  3. 3Qaid processes the emailAttachments (PDF, images) and HTML receipts in the email body are extracted and drafted. Duplicate emails and duplicate documents are skipped.
  4. 4Approve in the appDrafts appear in your inbox view and chat for review. Failed extractions are retried automatically and shown so nothing is lost silently.

Good to know

  • The address only accepts email for companies that exist in Qaid; other recipients are dropped.
  • Email delivery is handled by Resend; the content is stored with your company's documents, not on a public URL.
  • You can re-process an email from the app if an extraction needs another pass.

Frequently asked questions

Technically yes — like any email address — which is why nothing posts without your approval. Emails create drafts only; you decide what becomes a transaction.

No, it complements it. Uploading in the app is best for paper receipts you photograph; the inbox is best for digital receipts that already arrive by email.

Try it with your next receipt.

Qaid is free during early access. Create your company, describe one transaction, and see the entry.
