Terms of service

These terms govern your use of myqaid.com and the Qaid application provided by Wavai Technologies (“Qaid”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Qaid is bookkeeping software that helps you record transactions, process documents, keep a double-entry ledger, create invoices and generate reports, with assistance from an AI model. The service is currently in early access: features may change, and paid plans described on the pricing page will apply when billing is enabled.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account.
  • One person operates each company in Qaid today; keep your credentials private.

3. Not professional advice

Qaid assists with bookkeeping. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, does not file returns with any authority, and is not a certified e-invoicing solution. Figures such as VAT summaries, Zakat estimates and income-tax provisions are calculations from the records you keep. You are responsible for reviewing entries, for your filings, and for obtaining professional advice where needed.

4. AI features

AI-generated drafts and answers can be wrong. You review and approve drafts before they post (unless you enable Autopilot, at your own discretion). We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI output.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into Qaid. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service, including processing by the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload documents and information about third parties (customers, vendors, employees).

6. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful activity, no attempts to access other companies' data, no reverse engineering or scraping of the application.
  • No sending unsolicited mail through inbox addresses or sharing invoice links for deceptive purposes.
  • We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or threaten its security.

7. Fees

Qaid is free during early access. When billing launches, prices and limits will be those shown on the pricing page at the time, and we will give notice before charging.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qaid is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim (or KWD 50 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including tax penalties arising from the records you keep or filings you make.

10. Termination

You can stop using Qaid and request deletion at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.
