Introducing Qaid: your own AI bookkeeper

The story behind Qaid and why we built a bookkeeper you can talk to.

Founder, QaidPublished Updated 3 min read

The short answer

Qaid is an AI bookkeeper you operate by talking to it — describe what happened, approve the drafted double-entry entry, create invoices with VAT, and ask questions about your numbers.

We started Qaid with a simple observation: the people who most need clean books are the least likely to enjoy keeping them. Bookkeeping is essential, and for most founders it's also the task that slips.

A bookkeeper you talk to

So we built an AI bookkeeper you talk to like a person. Tell it about your transactions, ask about your numbers, and let it draft the accounting — invoices, VAT and all. Under the conversation it's still real double-entry bookkeeping, and you approve every entry.

What Qaid does today

  • Records transactions from plain-language descriptions in English or Arabic.
  • Reads receipts, supplier invoices and bank statements you upload or email.
  • Creates invoices with VAT where it applies, as PDF or share link.
  • Answers questions and produces reports and a CFO-style review from your ledger.

Qaid is built in Kuwait by Wavai Technologies and is free during early access. See everything Qaid does, or try it and record your first entry in a sentence.
